Paula Newby-Fraser – Ambassador, IRONMAN
“2015 was the first year that IRONMAN got involved with the Triathlon Show: London. The Show provided us with great opportunity to present the brand, our events and spread the message of new initiatives to a broad audience of multisports athletes and affiliated organizations and partners.
“The environment and timing provided optimal opportunity to connect directly with seasoned IRONMAN athletes, as well as health and fitness enthusiasts, looking to take up the challenge of triathlon.”
Following the launch of the successful Triathlon Plus Show in 2014, this was the first time the rebranded event had taken place. After securing partnerships with key organisations including IMG, organiser of the UK’s two largest triathlons, Ironman, Tri247.com and Triathlon England, it is well positioned as the premier event for the triathlon industry.
Steve Clark – Group Show Director, Telegraph Events:
“I am delighted the team has managed to deliver an incredible line up of exhibitors, special guests and content, which has been highlighted in the fantastic feedback from visitors and exhibitors. The continued co-location with the The London Bike Show and The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show helps exhibitors reach new relevant audiences and tap into markets that were previously unavailable.
“The rebrand allowed us to work with a number of media partners in a more integrated way and this has been key to the success of the Show. We are committed to supporting the growing triathlon industry, and I cannot wait to build upon the solid foundations of these Shows in 2016 to make it an even better experience for exhibitors, sponsors and visitors.”
Melanie Berry – Deputy Chairman, Triathlon Industry Association
“The TIA held their quarterly meeting alongside the Triathlon Show: London and it provided an ideal setting for our discussion about how we move the industry forwards. The Show was busy and looked great, setting an excellent example of how the industry should be presenting itself to the public. People’s perceptions of triathlon are often that it’s expensive, elitist and difficult, but the Show demonstrated this wasn’t the case, and offered lots for visitors to do and a great value day out. We look forward to being part of the event in 2016 and hope to see more triathlon brands involved.”
Triathlon Show: London, The London Bike Show and The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show will return to ExCeL, London 11 – 14 February 2016.
