Telegraph Events and Gruppo Media launch premium road cycling show – Rouleur Classic: The Road Cycling Emporium
Telegraph Events, organiser of The London Bike Show, and Gruppo Media, publisher of Rouleur magazine, are delighted to announce the launch of a new road cycling event – Rouleur Classic: The Road Cycling Emporium, which will take place from 19th – 21st November 2015 at Vinopolis, London.
Rouleur Classic will be a unique celebration of the very best in road cycling. An exclusive, intimately-curated visitor experience, featuring the sport’s pre-eminent brands, personalities and professional cyclists, together with exclusive previews of the latest products, equipment and technologies under one roof. Rouleur’s unrivalled insight into the modern sport and its rich history will provide the perfect context for visitors to evaluate their next important purchase.
Rouleur Classic will bring visitors, exhibitors and sponsors together in a relaxed atmosphere, with high quality food, drink and entertainment. Providing an exclusive, premium setting for brands to showcase their products without compromise, the show will enable visitors to spend quality time talking directly to exhibitors, to evaluate the purchasing opportunities and, most importantly, enjoy the immersive cycling experience on offer.
There will be a number of different sessions over the three days, including the VIP launch evening and the Rouleur Awards. A limited capacity for each session will ensure the experience is premium for visitors and exhibitors.
Exhibiting at the event is only available on an invitational basis. Invites are being sent to a handpicked selection of exhibitors and brands to ensure the event is successfully curated into a luxury road cycling emporium.
Rouleur Classic: The Road Cycling Emporium is a collaboration between Telegraph Events and Gruppo Media. The event is being held in The Great Halls, Academia and Mezzanine spaces at Vinopolis, a spectacular venue situated at London Bridge. Its unique layout and atmosphere makes it the ideal home for the Rouleur Classic.
Damian Norman, MD of Telegraph Events said: “We’re delighted to be working with Gruppo Media on this exciting new show and our combined expertise and market positioning puts us in a fantastic position to deliver this new concept. We are breaking new ground as far as cycling exhibitions go and creating a totally unique visitor experience, which we’re sure visitors, exhibitors and sponsors are going to really enjoy being part of.”
Bruce Sandell, MD at Gruppo Media added: “Our ambition is to give our loyal high-spending audience a new type of cycling exhibition, one that is premium and 100% road-focused. We want to work with the brands attending to lead our customers through to retail. The Rouleur brand extends perfectly into an exhibition and we will be using our attention to detail to bring it to life in this space. Telegraph Events are an ideal partner – they have great experience, an enviable database and the Telegraph brand, which is synonymous with quality. We’ve already spoken with many potential exhibitors and sponsors who are very excited by the idea, as our readers will be too.
“Here at Rouleur, we are immensely proud of our reputation as the world’s finest cycling publication. In hosting Rouleur Classic, we will be “bringing Rouleur to life” for our readers.
It’s a special opportunity for passionate devotees of our great sport to personally interact with its key protagonists and products.”
Samantha Anderson, MD at Vinopolis commented: “I’m delighted to welcome this exciting new event to Vinopolis. Many people think of Vinopolis as a wine tasting venue but our space is extremely flexible and it’s great for an event such as the Rouleur Classic. We’re extremely accessible by bicycle, car, bus, train and underground, so I’m sure visitors will enjoy the experience.”
Tickets to the event will be on sale in March 2015 priced from £50.00. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available at the event and more information is available at www.rouleurclassic.cc. Alternatively, please call 0207 931 3959 to explore how to get involved.
